Department of Early Learning

At LCS, we believe early learning builds the foundation for lifelong success. With 90 percent of brain development happening before age five, these early years matter. 

Quality early learning builds the foundation for school success. Instruction begins early at age 3 for eligible students and age 4 for VPK. Teachers use The Creative Curriculum, aligned with the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards. All PK teachers are certified and supported by paraprofessionals.
